World AIDS Day: Thess Checkpoint
Tomorrow, the first of December, is World AIDS Day. On this day, we raise awareness about HIV and AIDS. To highlight this day, we interviewed two employees, Amalia and Vasilis, from Thess Checkpoint, the HIV prevention centre in Thessaloniki. They told us more about their work and stigma around HIV and AIDS in Greek society. We also got tested for HIV ourselves to see how the process goes.
Bi Visibility Day: celebrating sexual diversity

Today it is International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition. UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization) first declared this day in 1998. The purpose of the day is, as the name says, to commemorate the tragedies of the slave trade. It also intends to break the silence around slavery and the slave trade.
