Balkan Square Festival Thessaloniki 2018
The Balkan Square (Valkaniki Plateia) festival takes place in Thessaloniki every year. Our volunteers talked to one of the organizers to gain some knowledge about the festival and the philosophy behind it.
Where is unemployment going?
In this blog article I would like to briefly present nine main reasons why young people can not successfully find work these days. Unemployment is one of the biggest problems of the present times and thus the graduation from university becomes a fearful dream to many young people. Greece has also experienced a significant growth of unemployment rate in connection with university graduates. For all of these reasons, it I find it very fitting to analyse the reasons why it is difficult for young people to find a job after finishing of the university.

Since the first moment that you put your feet in Skopje, you perceive that is a place with history. Skopje is the city of the references and the heart of the Balkan Peninsula.
Maybe your first impression will be about the chaotic mix of this influences. They are all around, they are from different periods but they coexist in this now of the city and you should absorve all of them almost at the same time. In a while you realize that is part of it’s culture, what gives to the city the shape, the personality among the other European capitals.
